Thank you Sloanies who participated in the Sloan

non-profits.
The Sloan project, led by Project Sponsor,
Tricia Craig ('97) and Project Managers Lia Cavalcante Griffiths (’10) and Mary Barton ('98) also includes Leonard
Francis (‘09) V Prabhakar (‘07) and Rachel Theran ('03). The Sloan team will be
working for the Massachusetts Horticultural Society, an organization founded in
1929 that is dedicated to encouraging the science and practice of horticulture.
Located in the historic Elm Bank Reservation in Wellesley, Massachusetts
Horticulture's education center and gardens are a place of beauty, discovery,
quiet reflection and appreciation of garden design.
The six-month CCT project will focus on
helping Mass Hort develop new revenue streams to enable them to continue to
deliver excellence in its educational mission and Elm Bank stewardship.

ORIGINAL PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
Description: CCT is an all-volunteer organization providing free management consulting services to Boston's nonprofits. Since 1990 CCT has completed more than 110 successful consulting engagements involving more than 500 alumni of leading business schools.
This year CCT, in cooperation with the Sloan Alumni Club of Boston is offering Sloan alums the option to work on an all-Sloan (alumni) team for a nonprofit faced with a strategic challenge central to its mission. Projects start in late January and run through May, involve 12-16 hours a month of time, and provide a great way to make an impact while networking with, and learning from, fellow alumni.
For more information about CCT and this volunteer opportunity you are invited to attend an information session for Sloan alumni on Thursday September 27, 2012, to be led by Jay Paap, Sloan alum and former Executive Director of CCT. (see www.cctboston.org for additional information on CCT)
