Established in 1968, the Great Dome Award (formerly known as the Presidential Citation) is the highest honor the Association bestows upon any of its organizations.
This award is given to groups in recognition of distinguished service to the Institute or the Association. President Dave Harelick received the Award on behalf of the Club during the 2012 MIT Alumni Leadership Conference on September 22, 2012.
The club was noted for engaging alumni across a wide span of years and interests, and its many offerings including the Career Series; conferences for CIOs, CFOs, and other leaders; public service outreach projects; and social events. This broad array of activities enhances the Sloan brand, promotes continued personal and professional growth, offers community interaction, and provides opportunities to showcase professors, programs, and alumni.
