Volunteer consulting opportunities with Boston-area nonprofits (Career Series #36) |
The MIT Sloan Boston Alumni Association is working with Community Consulting Teams (CCT) to support the success of local non-profits.
Description: CCT is an all-volunteer organization
providing free management consulting services to Boston's nonprofits. Since
1990 CCT has completed more than 110 successful consulting engagements
involving more than 500 alumni of leading business schools.
For 2014 CCT is again partnering with the MIT Sloan Boston Alumni
Association to offer Sloan alums the option to work on an all-Sloan
(alumni) team for a nonprofit faced with a strategic challenge central to its
mission. Projects start in late January and run through May, involve 12-16
hours a month of time, and provide a great way to make an impact while
networking and learning with fellow alum.
For more information you are invited to attend an information
session for Sloan alumni on Wednesday, October 2, to be led by Jay Paap, Sloan
alum and former Executive Director of CCT. We will also have past
volunteers/clients in attendance to share their
experiences. Interested in learning more? Can't make this
session? See www.cctboston.org for additional information and
