Volunteer Consulting Opportunities with Boston-area Nonprofits (Career Series #39)
The MIT Sloan Boston Alumni Association is once again working with Community Consulting Teams (CCT) to support the success of local non-profits and provide alumni with consulting experience and impact.

Description: Are you thinking about transitioning to a role in the non-profit space? One way to gain experience and build up your resume in the social sector is by joining a CCT team, where you will also have the opportunity to make a positive and lasting impact on a local non profit organization. CCT is an all-volunteer organization providing free management consulting services to Boston's nonprofits. Since 1990 CCT has completed more than 140 successful consulting engagements involving more than 500 alumni of leading business schools.

For 2015 the MIT Sloan Boston Alumni Association is again partnering with CCT to offer MIT Sloan alums the option to work with an all-Sloan (alumni) team for a nonprofit faced with a strategic challenge central to its mission. CCT projects start in January and run through May, involve 12-16 hours a month of time, and provide a great way to make an impact while networking and learning with fellow alum.

If you would like to learn more, please join us for an information session at MIT Sloan on Wednesday, October 22, to be led by Jay Paap, Sloan alum and former Executive Director of CCT. We will also have past volunteers/clients in attendance to share their experiences. If you can't make this session and would still like to volunteer, just see for additional information and other upcoming sessions.
