MIT Alumni Founders Therapy Roundtable Discussion #2 - "Summertime Sadness"

Are you a startup founder?

FoundersTherapy is back! We had almost 100% turnout at the last event, with high demand for another session. Space is limited to 20 people.

Are you a startup founder? Join an open roundtable discussion with fellow founders from MIT! Discuss your greatest challenges, celebrate and commiserate with entrepreneurs who can relate. Whether you're going through a tough time or willing to help others, we hope that you'll gain new insights, contacts, and friends. We will start with this session's suggested topic and let the discussion flow organically from there. The suggested topic is fundraising, but you're welcome to bring up other topics as the evening progresses.

You must be an MIT-affiliated startup founder.  Light dinner and dessert will be provided.

Date: Tuesday, July 31 from 6:30-8:00pm

Venue: CIC, The Lookout Room, 101 Main Street, Cambridge (101 Main Street is located in Kendall Square, just down the street from CIC's One Broadway location. When exiting the Kendall Square T station, walk down Main Street towards the Longfellow Bridge. 101 Main Street is a red brick building next to Tatte Bakery, and about a 2-3 minute walk from the Red Line Kendall T-Stop).

Please Note: You will need to check in at the security desk as a guest of MIT Sloan Boston Alumni Association. Pat Hubbell, Christina Qi or Tina Kruczynski will greet you at the 15th floor elevators.

At registration we will ask:

  • Name of your start-up
  • How long you have been working on your start up
  • What particular issues you're facing & would like to discuss with other founders.
Given the limited spots available and that we are ordering food and beverages, there is a $10 charge if you register and do not attend.   We will not charge you if you let us know at least 2 days prior to the event. Email: Tina Kruczynski at (tina@mitsloanboston.com). This will allow us to take a fellow alumni off the waitlist.

On-Campus Free Parking:  Due to the never-ending construction, Sloan's Hermann Garage is only accessable via Main Street. It is a small garage without a gate, and directly under the Sloan library. Another option is the Amherst Street/E51 lot. These parking lots are free after 5pm. A close public parking lot is Kendall Center Green Garage, next to the Marriott Hotel. The entrance is 90 Broadway Street. For other suggesions, click here.

Waitlist open!
