United Way’s Board Connection event brings together professionals seeking meaningful community leadership opportunities with local nonprofits looking to strengthen their volunteer boards.

This year, they are also offering the opportunity to participate in the Board Connection Certificate Program, presented in partnership with John Hancock. This comprehensive curriculum, led by professionals from the nonprofit and for-profit sectors, will prepare you for what it really means to be a great nonprofit board member.

The training sessions will culminate with the Board Connection Agency Fair, where participants will meet and network with local nonprofit organizations that have open board positions. (Guests who have not completed the certificate program are still welcome to attend the Board Connection Agency Fair.).
