Volunteer Consulting Opportunities Information Session (CS #61)

Are you thinking about transitioning to a role in the non-profit space, or making an impact on a Boston-area non-profit?

One way to gain experience and build up your resume in the social sector is by joining a Community Consulting Team (CCT), where you will also have the opportunity to make a positive and lasting impact on a local non-profit organization. CCT is an all-volunteer organization providing pro-bono management consulting services to Boston's non-profits. Since 1990, CCT has completed more than 140 successful consulting engagements involving more than 500 alumni of leading business schools.

For 2017-2018, the MIT Sloan Boston Alumni Association is again partnering with CCT to offer MIT Sloan Alums the option to work with non-profits faced with a strategic challenge central to its mission. CCT projects start in mid-January and run through May, involve 12-16 hours a month of time, and provide a great way to make an impact while networking and learning with fellow alums.

If you would like to learn more, please join us for this information session at MIT Sloan.  We will also have past volunteers in attendance to share their experiences.

If you can't make this session and would still like to volunteer, just visit www.cctboston.org for additional information and other upcoming sessions, or e-mail Mary Cross at marycross@cctboston.org.
