16th Annual MIT Sloan Healthcare & BioInnovations Conference

Theme: Pathways to Innovation in Healthcare

 
This year's conference will feature over thirty speakers from around the healthcare and biotech industries, including representatives from academia, investment and venture capital, biotech startups, major  pharmaceutical companies, payers, and government agencies.
 
In addition, guests will hear keynotes from Dr. Bob Langer, Dr. George Church, and Cory Kidd and have the opportunity to participate in two hands-on workshops by MIT Hacking Medicine and MIT Solve.

3rd annual MIT Sloan Healthcare Innovation Prize 
 
Date: Thursday, March 8, 2018 
Time: 7:00 am - 6:00 pm  
Venue:  MIT Sloan campus, Tang Center (E-51), 70 Memorial Drive, Cambridge

Interested in start-ups? Join us the night before for our Sloan Healthcare Innovation Prize where the most promising student-led healthcare start-ups will compete for over $28K in prizes. The Sloan Healthcare Innovations Prize (SHIP) is a pitch competition open to student entrepreneurs innovating in the healthcare space.  The mission of SHIP is to support early stage healthcare start-ups by providing feedback from experienced industry professionals, workshops to help launch your business, and a chance to compete for over $30,000 in prizes.
 
SHBC is also an excellent opportunity for networking. Over 100 healthcare companies were represented last year and we anticipate even more this year! Mix and mingle with an anticipated 500 attendees at our networking happy hour after the conference.
