Holiday Delights: Holiday Cookie Baking (Resilience Series)

Just in time for the holidays. Christa Kling, founder of Nectar by Sea, returns to show us how to bake delicious holiday cookies everyone will devour.

Having guests or traveling for the first time in a while? We have the perfect events for you to attend! Join us to refine your skills in holiday cookie baking, mixology and cheese and chocolate tasting. What's not to love!?

Nothing is merrier than a beautiful platter of homemade cookies for the holidays. From cookie exchanges and competitions at office celebrations and family gatherings to school and hostess gifts, cookie artistry has become the centerpiece of holiday dessert tables and the gift to give.

Back again for the 3rd year is Christa Kling, pastry chef and owner of Nectar by Sea, who never fails to delight us with her tips and tricks to holiday cookie baking and decorating, demystify royal icing consistencies and explore six different royal icing techniques to put the jolly in your holiday season.  Who doesn't love a home baked holiday cookie?!

Christa Kling is the founder of Nectar by Sea, a small batch artisan bakery and confectionary based in Hull, Massachusetts and comes from a long line of French and German pastry chefs, sugar artists and chocolatiers. Classically trained in her family’s European bakeries and cafes, Christa has over 25 years of experience serving up something sweet from nectar.

This event is part of the MIT Sloan Boston Alumni Association Resilience Series.
