This event is subsidized by the MIT Sloan Boston Alumni Association (MITSBAA). We are a 501-C3 organization that supports the strength and breadth of the MIT Sloan Alumni community.

Ticket Prices:

The MIT Sloan Boston Alumni Association is generously subsidizing this event so that everyone can attend.

Ticket prices for MIT Sloan Alumni (each of whom can bring up to 1 guest who must also purchase a ticket)

• Regular Tickets (until November 30) - $80 per person
• Last Minute Tickets (until December 3 @ 5pm) - $110 per person
• Walk-in Tickets (starting at 5pm) - $125 per person

Refund Policy: Tickets are easily refundable thru November 30, 2022, after which a $25 fee will be applied to each ticket being refunded. There is no refund for cancelation after 6:30pm on Dec. 3 or no-show.

Parking & Public Transportation: Event parking is $40 and overnight hotel guests can park for $65. That said, we are providing an open bar at this event and STRONGLY encourage our guests to use public transportation or a taxi/ride share service instead. The hotel was intentionally chosen due to its close proximity to public transportation including the Green Line (Boylston St), Red Line/Orange Line (Downtown Crossing), Commuter Rail (South Station) and Silver Line.

If public transportation doesn't work for you, the Association still wants to encourage you to make a safe choice.  As such, the Association is offering the following:

• A) we will pay for your Uber home (anytime between 8:30PM on December 3rd and 6am on December 4th for rides originating at the Ritz only), up to $25.  You will receive the code in-person at the event.  It will not be otherwise distributed, it is not to be shared, it cannot be combined and there will be no refund for not using it.  The cost of code is coming out of the Association's pockets to help encourage everyone's safety, your cooperation is appreciated.
• B) In addition to the "low" (for the Ritz) negotiated rate of $295 per night (good for Friday and Saturday nights), the association will further subsidize the room rate down to $270 per night.  Please use https://www.marriott.com/events/start.mi?id=1664992905085&key=GRP to book (note that subsidized rate may not appear until late October).  Must book by Nov 15th to get this rate or it will go to the Ritz's full retail price.

COVID Policy: Please note that we do not currently plan to require masks unless a legal requirement comes into force or there is a major change to the facts on the ground.  We will, however, be mask friendly so feel free to don your most stylish N95.  All attendees over 5 years old must certify that they are "fully vaccinated" per CDC definitions (please email admin@mitsloanboston.com to discuss a medical or other exception to this policy).  In addition, we highly encourage all eligible attendees to have received a bivalent booster (i.e., the omicron booster authorized on 8/31/2022) and this year's flu shot prior to attending (pro tip:you can get both at the same time for free and get a $20 gift certificate from Walgreens).
