treat you. There is a dilemma when you apply the Golden Rule in
leadership: Try to convince others using
the approaches that work well with you may result in you ending up frustrated,
angry, and ineffective.

six years in a row. Larry’s writings on
leadership and career management have appeared in California Management
Review, Directorship, Harvard Business Review, and MIT Sloan
Management Review. Since 2011, Psychology
Today has published Stybel Peabody’s perspectives on leadership and career

nearly 500,000 downloads. Larry is listed in Marquis
Who’s Who in Business and Marquis Who’s Who in America. In 2019, Marquis Publishing
presented Larry with the “Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award” for his “enduring
contributions to leadership.” Larry received his Ed.D. in Organization
Behavior from the Harvard University Graduate School of Education and his M.A.
in Clinical Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin.
