Parking & Public Transportation: The venue is a short walk from the Kendall Square T stop on the red line as we all know. MIT also has a shuttle service (read more here). We discourage driving
to the event (link to public parking at MIT).
If public
transportation doesn't work for you, the Association still wants to encourage
you to make a safe choice. As such, the Association is PAYING FOR YOUR
UBER.
More specifically, we will pay for your Uber home (anytime between 8:30PM
on December 9th and 6am on December 10th for rides originating in the Kendall
Square area), up to $25. You will receive the code in-person at the
event. It will not be otherwise distributed, it is not to be
shared, it cannot be combined and there will be no refund for not using
it. The cost of code is coming out of the Association's pockets to help
encourage everyone's safety, your cooperation is appreciated.
COVID Policy: Please note that we do not currently plan to require masks
unless a legal requirement comes into force or there is a major change to the
facts on the ground. We will, however, be mask friendly so feel free to
don your most stylish N95. We encourage all eligible attendees to be up
to date on their COVID vaccines (per CDC recommendations), flu vaccine and all
other CDC recommended vaccines.
