Holiday Mixology (MITSBAA Resilience Series)

Welcome back Jaclyn Selby, MBA 2021, and Founder of Sous Chef, along with her colleague and mixologist, Presley Green to elevate our "spirits" in time for the holidays!

Please join us to fine tune your cocktail expertise and learn some tips for holiday nibbles. Jaclyn will be joined
by well-known mixologist, Presley Green. We will be creating a series of holiday-focused cocktails, as well as mocktail alternatives. A special recipe for “nibbles” will be included!  Pull up a chair and enjoy a fun session!

COCKTAIL MENU:

  • APPLE CIDER MARGARITA: Tequila, apple cider, Cointreau, lemon, cinnamon sugar
  • PUMPKIN SPICE WHITE RUSSIAN: vanilla vodka, Kahlua, pumpkin spice syrup, cream
  • MAPLE OLD FASHIONED: Bourbon, cherry liquor, maple syrup, angostura bitters, orange peel

Jaclyn Selby founded Sous Chef to build community through culinary experiences with the notion that immersive, shared events unite us in meaningful ways. Prior to Sous Chef, Jaclyn gained 13 years of experience in media, advertising technology, sales, and management. Jaclyn is founding host of MIT’s Sloan Alumni Online Speaker Series. She earned an MBA form MIT’s Sloan School of Management and Bachelor’s Degree from Northwestern University.

Mixologist Presley Greeen brings nearly two decades of experience in the hospitality industry and over 12 years of experience bartending to Sous Chef. Currently serving as bartender at Kansas City Country Club, Green gained prior experience at numerous Kansas City bars and restaurants. Most recently, he served as bartender at Paros Estiatorio, an upscale Greek restaurant, and Rye, which boosts a James Beard Award winning chef and extensive bar program. In addition, Green has created a line of cocktail bitters, syrups and shrubs dubbed, Green Bitters.
