Refund Policy: Tickets are easily refundable thru December 2, 2025, after which a $25 fee will be applied to each ticket being refunded. There is no refund for cancellation after 6:00pm on December 5 or no-show.
MIT Sloan Alumni may bring 1 guest at the same price. The MIT Sloan Boston Alumni Association is generously subsidizing this event so that everyone can attend.
Cocktail Attire Recommended (We’re at The Ritz-Carlton, so dressy or high fashion is perfect—suits/jackets, cocktail dresses or dressy separates. If you’re coming straight from work, come as you are—we’d rather have you than miss you.)
Schedule (subject to change)
- 6:00pm-7:00pm: passed appetizers*
- 7:00pm-9:00pm: food stations*
- 7:15pm-7:30pm: brief welcome by SBAA’s president
- 8:00pm-10:00pm: cookies* & coffee
- 11:00pm: bar closes
- After-Party: TBA
* Vegetarian options will be provided during all courses.
Parking & Public Transportation:
- Parking: Closest parking is at the Boston Common Garage, 47 Boylston Street, Boston

- Uber: If public transportation doesn't work for you, the Association still wants to encourage you to make a safe choice. As such, the Association is PAYING FOR YOUR UBER HOME. More specifically, we will pay for your Uber home up to $25 (anytime between 8:30pm on December 5 and 6:00am on December 6 for rides originating from the Ritz area). You will receive the code in-person at the event. It will not be otherwise distributed, it is not to be shared, it cannot be combined and there will be no refund for not using it. The cost of code is coming out of the Association's pockets to help encourage everyone's safety, your cooperation is appreciated.
Stay at the Ritz Option:
We have also negotiated a rate to stay over at the Ritz after the party. $399 plus tax and includes access to the Equinox gym. EXPIRES 10/31/2025 Feel free to check your employer's corporate rate in case it is better. As of 10/24, retail is $479, AAA is $419 and Marriott points are 94,000/night, + optional $20 for gym In addition to staying over on Friday night, the rate also applies to the staurday night so you can make a weekend out of it.
